This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Methodist Healthcare and the Pan American Society for Pigment Cell Research Society. Methodist Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Methodist Healthcare designates this educational activity for a maximum of 26 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Young Investigators are highly encouraged to apply for travel awards to participate in our meeting. The criteria for receiving a travel award are as follows: 1) must be a member or be sponsored by a member of the PASPCR, 2) must be a presenting author on an abstract submitted for the meeting, 3) must be in one of the following three groups: a. Graduate Student, b. Postdoctoral Fellow, c. Resident, d. Instructor or Assistant Professor who has had a faculty appointment for less than 3 years, 4) must not hold terminal doctoral degree for more than 5 years. Registration fee of awardees will be waived. An individual limit of $400 is placed on domestic travel awards and of $800 on international travel awards.
