Abstracts can be submitted in the following categories:

b) Cell Biology of Melanin Synthesis
c) Malignant Transformation of the Melanocyte and Melanoma Progression
d) Cell Surface and Nuclear Receptors and Their Ligands: Regulation of Melanocyte/Melanoma Behavior
e) Melanocyte Maturation/Differentiation: Developmental and Cellular Biology
f) Oxidative Responses in Melanocytes and Melanoma Cells
g) Melanocyte Response to Solar Radiation Pigmentary Disorders: Genetics, Etiology, Pathology and Therapy
h) Pigmentary System of the Eye
i) Other
Abstracts can be submitted from February 10 to May 1, 2009. Abstract submitted after May 1 will not be published in Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research, but will be considered and included as an appendix to the meeting Program and Abstracts booklet.
Abstracts length should not exceed 250 words. Accepted abstracts will be presented either orally or in poster format. Authors will be informed about acceptance of abstracts and their format (poster, oral, or poster and oral).

Please upload a word file with the same abstract, including the authors and affiliations below the title. This file is to be used for publication in Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research if your abstract is selected for presentation. Include authors, underline the presenting author and number the affiliations in superscript.
